The Port Alberni Port Authority has a limited number of advertising spaces available for marine and hospitality related businesses at both Clutesi Haven and China Creek Marina.
Fees:
- The cost for each 6 feet long by 3 feet high advertising space is $225 + tax due from time application is approved through to the end of the current year.
- Advertisers are responsible for all costs related to the design, production, mounting, maintenance and removal of their advertisement.
Specifications & Guidelines:
- Each sign must be 6 feet wide by 3 feet high to fit within the existing framework of the rail
- Each sign must be presented in proof from and approved by PAPA prior to being posted (it is advised to do this prior to production of the actual sign)
- All signs must be made of a weather-resistant, durable material
- Also, signs must be produced in such a way as to support bracketing or other suitable means to attach to existing rail
- Advertising fee must be paid to PAPA upon approval and prior to signage being posted
- PAPA staff will assist the advertiser but are not responsible to install the signage
- PAPA may, at its discretion, enforce that a sign be repaired, removed or replaced at the sole expense of the advertiser at any time for reasons that may compromise the safety or visual cleanliness of the advertising area
- Signage location will be first-come, first served
- There is no implied or inferred contract between advertisers and PAPA which guarantees
signage and location
